Kadiatu was born in Masugbay. She attends primary school and is in class 4. Her mother died during childbirth . Her father died in a fire. She is now staying with her older sister, Mabinty , a married woman who makes her living as a petty farmer and struggles to provide for Kadiatu. Kadiatu needs sponsorship to help provide for her physical, educational, and spiritual needs.
