Mariama was born in Freetown. Her father died from an unknown illness.  Her mother died from complications of childbirth.  Mariama lives with her grandmother, a poor widow, who struggles to provide for her.  Mariama attends school and is in class three.  Mariama needs sponsorship to help provide for her physical, educational, and spiritual needs.
