1. How does your role at Restore Hope help churches on mission?
I believe the highest priority of the church is to continue Christ’s earthly ministry of making disciples of all kinds of people. To do that, the church must “go” to other nations, baptizing them, teaching and preaching the gospel. My role at Restore Hope is to come alongside the local church in helping to prepare its missionaries for deployment into other countries through prayer and building strong relationships, so that they are encouraged in their work of evangelism and discipleship.
2. What qualifies you to play the role you play for Restore Hope?
My professional background as a paralegal will be an integral part in helping me to successfully perform my responsibilities. However, it is the gift of the Holy Spirit that will empower me to go above and beyond my natural abilities to bring glory to God in all I do at Restore Hope. I like to think of it in this way, “God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.”
3. If you have another job besides Restore Hope, what is your title and what do you do?
I absolutely LOVE being a mother to my sweet boy, Jeremiah! To me, motherhood is not just a chore. It is a gift from God!
4. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love spending time with my family. I also equally appreciate my alone time with God. I find pleasure in conversing with others and cultivating healthy relationships. When time permits, I will often lose myself in a good, intellectually stimulating book.
5. What is your favorite missions quote?
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." — Jesus (Acts 1:8)
